NEW LAW CHANGE EFFECTING EARLY-VOTING (ABSENTEE) IN-PERSON AT THE OFFICE:
In-person Early-Voting will no longer be available (by law) the Saturday and Monday before each election.
This office will continue (by law) to mail absentee ballots until 12:00 noon on the Saturday before the election;  but only applications received through the mailing process.

AUGUST 7, 2012 SPECIAL ELECTION - NEWTON FALLS ONLY - ABSENTEE VOTING:
Absentee voting begins Saturday, June 23, 2012 for Uniformed and Overseas (UOCAVA) Voters.
Absentee voting begins Tuesday, July 3, 2012 for non-UOCACA voters.

NOVEMER 6, 2012 GENERAL ELECTION ABSENTEE VOTING:
Absentee voting begins Saturday, September 22, 2012 for Uniformed and Overseas (UOCAVA) Voters.
Absentee voting for non-UOCAVA Voters begins Tuesday, October 2, 2012.
There is no longer a requirement to state a reason to vote absentee.
