MAY 4, 2010 PRIMARY ELECTION VOTER REGISTRATION


IF YOU ARE 17 YEARS OLD AND WILL REACH THE AGE OF 18 ON OR BEFORE THE NOVEMBER 2, 2010 GENERAL ELECTION, YOU CAN REGISTER NOW AND VOTE IN THE PRIMARY ELECTION.

 
YOU ARE QUALIFIED TO VOTE IF you will be 18 on or before the NOVEMBER 2, 2010 GENERAL ELECTION, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of the State of Ohio.

REGISTRATION CLOSES  MONDAY, APRIL 5, 2010 AT 9:00PM for those who are not registered and interested in voting in the MAY 4, 2010 PRIMARY ELECTION.

ADDRESS and NAME CHANGES of registered voters WITHIN TRUMBULL COUNTY can be made by notifying the Board of Elections of the change by completing and signing a voter registration card on or before the deadline. If the change is not made before the deadline, a provisional ballot can be cast in the voter's new precinct on election day or by absentee ballot at the Board of Elections during the time for casting absentee ballots.

YOU CAN REGISTER at the Board of Elections; all county offices; branch registration locations established by the Board of Elections; Ohio Dept. of Health Agencies (WIC); Dept. of Human Services; all public high schools; public libraries and Bureau of Motor Vehicle locations. You must provide either your Ohio driver's license number or the last four(4) digits of your social security number.  You sign an oath attesting to the accuracy of all information given. You must register using your legal name just as you would for any legal document.

You can request registration forms by mail, by phone, in person or by having another person obtain them for you. The completed form can be returned to the Board by you in person, by mail or by having another person return it for you. Forms must be in the possession of the Board of Elections by the close of registration on MONDAY, APRIL 5, 2010 BY 9:00PM.
